Les Smith

Les began oil painting in 1998, following his retirement from the Metropolitan Police.

He paints in an impressionistic style and endeavours to create atmosphere and mood in his work.

Whilst pursuing various themes, London, its cityscapes and river have remained a constant source of inspiration.

He also enjoys sketching and painting the Suffolk and Essex coasts.

Les is an active member of The Enfield Art Circle and the Hertford Art Society.
